An easy to use ventilation system takes the guesswork out of temperature control, featuring stainless steel sliding top and bottom vents marked with airflow settings, as well as a thermometer built into the lid. The top cap prevents rain from entering the grill while cooking and has two tabs to make airflow adjustments easier. A stainless steel latch clicks in place when closing the lid, holding it securely shut and ensuring a proper seal. A spring-loaded release allows easy access to the grill with a simple push. The kamado lid is fitted with a spring assisted hinge for easier opening. The 21-inch diameter stainless steel cooking grate gives you 346 square inches of cooking space, enough room to grill up to 15 burgers at a time. It also features a hinged portion for quick access to the fire box. The ceramic fire box and cast iron charcoal grate keep cooking fuels contained, while cutouts in the charcoal grate allow loose ashes to fall through and maintain airflow. The bottom vent features a secondary sliding door that gives you a wider opening for easier access when cleaning out ash and debris. This kamado also includes two removable, folding bamboo side shelves with tool hooks for added convenience. The stainless steel kamado cart features four felt-lined support arms that safely keep your kamado in place. Four swivel casters allow for easy movement, while two of the casters have built-in locks for secure placement.
